Acid Casein -30/60/90 Attrition Mesh

High quality milk protein produced by acid precipitation of casein from fresh pasteurised skimmed milk.

Rennet Casein -30/60/90 Mesh

High quality milk protein produced by rennet precipitation of the casein from fresh pasteurised skimmed milk.

Sodium Caseinate

High quality milk protein produced from fresh pasteurised skimmed milk through acid precipitation of the casein followed by neutralisation with sodium salt.

Calcium Caseinate

High quality milk protein produced from fresh pasteurised skimmed milk through acid precipitation of the casein followed by neutralisation with calcium salts.

Potassium Caseinate

High quality milk protein produced manufactured from fresh pasteurised skimmed milk through acid precipitation of the casein followed by neutralisation with potassium salts.

Sauces & Dressings Definition

Caseins are a produced by drying a curd to a powder. Casein production takes place by curdling and straining, when rennet (leading to rennet casein) or an edible acidic (leading to acid casein) substance is added. The curd is dried, usually on a roller dryer or extruder to casein powder. Caseinate is modified acid casein produced by reacting with a hydroxide such as sodium or calcium hydroxide, it has excellent emulsifying capabilities.

Applications

Casein and Caseinates can be supplied according, particle size and packaging requirements. Casein and Caseinates have many different applications, for example in sports nutrition, cheese, yogurt, energy bars, drinks and meat to name a few. They are also used as a functional ingredient to stabilize emulsions and for the manufacturing of toppings and foamers.
