Glenstal Foods Win Gold

Glenstal Foods based in Murroe, Co Limerick, proudly walked away with a Gold Medal in the cheese category of the recent National Irish Food Awards for their Irish Vintage Red Cheddar which they supply exclusively to Aldi supermarkets in Ireland under Aldi’s “Specially Selected” brand.

The awards, now in their second year, celebrate the quality and imagination of Irish food producers who are creating the best-tasting food in Ireland.

Glenstal Foods has been supplying the delicious tasting, 18 month matured, Irish cheddar to Aldi for a little over 12 months where the 250gm pack retails at €2.79. The cheese is specially selected, matured and graded in Cork before being distributed to all the Aldi stores throughout Ireland.
